Doors That Close, Lock, and Seal Properly

A door that sticks, rattles, or shows daylight around its edges is more than an annoyance, because it costs you comfort, security, and energy every day. Warped slabs, worn weatherstripping, loose hinges, and frames softened by water damage all make a door harder to open, close, and lock. Doors that were never sized or aligned correctly also wear out their hardware early and can let moisture into the surrounding walls and floors. At Southern View Windows & Doors, we replace failing doors throughout the home, from front entry and patio doors to the interior doors you open dozens of times a day.

Small installation mistakes such as misaligned hinges, incorrect shimming, or poorly fitted weatherstripping are behind most new doors that stick, rattle, or leak air. We start by checking the existing opening for rot, damage, and misalignment, then measure carefully so the new door fits its frame precisely. During installation the frame is squared and shimmed, the hinges and hardware are fastened securely, and every gap is sealed with the right insulation and sealant. At Southern View Windows & Doors, the old door comes out carefully to protect the surrounding walls, trim, and flooring, and the work area is left clean.

As a family-owned company, we treat the doors in your home with the same care we would want for our own. We help you compare door styles, materials, and glass options up front, so the finished door suits both your home and the way you use it. At Southern View Windows & Doors, every job ends with a final check of how each door opens, closes, and locks, along with the fit of the weatherstripping and the look of the trim. If anything is not right, we take care of it on the spot so you are fully satisfied before we leave.
